The Technology & Enterprise Learning Area offers students the opportunity to engage in a range of different areas such as: Design & Technology, Home Economics and Information Technology. This Learning Area is a highly practical area in which students are encouraged to express themselves and develop skills in decision making and problem solving through the use of food, textiles, wood, metal and information technology. Students are given the opportunity to apply their skills in a practical and enterprising way, using a variety of resources.
Students interested in following this course of study into Senior School are able to access opportunities through work placements and traineeships. These subjects develop skills for those who wish to pursue a career in trades, hospitality, textiles, information technology, DIY or develop a practical hobby.
